Organisers of Australasia’s biggest enthusiast motorcycle event, the inaugural Bike Fest Oz! 2023 are pleased to announce that they have confirmed June 7-11, 2023 as being the official dates for next year’s ultimate celebration of all things motorcycling!

Bikes of all shapes and sizes (even lawnmowers) will be welcome at Bike Fest Oz 2023.
(We can’t identify our male model in this photo as ‘Danny’ is currently in witness protection, although his parole officer assured us he will be mowing lawns at the party on the Cooly Coast next year.)
America has Daytona Bike Week and Sturgis, England has the Isle of Man, and most other developed countries have major annual motorcycle festivals that offer two-wheeled enthusiasts the opportunity to celebrate their passion for life in the saddle. But apart from the Australian Motorcycle MotoGP at Phillip Island, and some other relatively minor local events based around bike shows, annual club gatherings and race meetings, Australia – and New Zealand — have nothing to equal Daytona, Sturgis or the Isle of Man. These events, individually and collectively, attract millions of paying visitors from around the world every year, and a couple have celebrated more than 80 years of continuous existence.

But all that is about to change. A group of very prominent motorcyclists, entrepreneurs, promotors and motorcycle journalists have come together to launch what they aim to be an iconic landmark event intended to celebrate and showcase the wonderful and diverse world of motorcycling. Launching on 7th June, 2023, Bike Fest Oz! will, in part, be a celebration of bikes & bikers plus it’s Harley-Davidson’s 120th birthday party, and will be linked to similar celebrations planned for Milwaukee, USA. And what’s more, if all goes according to plan Bike Fest Oz! will win itself a permanent spot on the Australasian motorcycle calendar.
“While the inaugural Bike Fest Oz! will, in part, celebrate Harley-Davidson’s incredible milestone, this event is intended to showcase everything from Vespas to Vincents, Harleys to Hondas and will really be a celebration of all things motorcycling,” said the organisers in a joint statement. “And we aim to have a few surprise guests and celebrities put in appearances on their bikes over the 3-4 days of the event.”
Centred around Coolangatta & the Gold Coast, the event will take in the whole of the coastline, with various events, including classic and custom bike shows, organized tours and poker runs, a stunt spectacular and a major party, with a headline band, on the Sunday night linked directly to Harley-Davidson’s celebration in the USA.

Those planning to join us for Australasia’s inaugural Bike Fest Oz! 2023 motorcycle party and festival will want to ensure they get in early to secure spots on our Rolling Thunder Parade, which will only be open to 1000 ticketed participants.

Major public events and festivals like Bike Fest Oz! don’t just happen.
